Frederick G. Rosenzweig, 86, born October 25, 1918, in Cheney, Washington, died peacefully, June 8, 2005, in Monroe, Washington. He will remain in our hearts and minds forever, and will be dearly missed.

Fred served his country in WWII as a B-17 pilot with the 8th Air Force. He was a trustee in the Monroe Historical Society and a member of the Monroe Kiwanis Club and the Monroe Congregational Church.

He is survived by one of his three sisters, Frances (Frank) Ross, of Seattle; sons, James Robert (Beth), of Shoreline, John, of Atlanta, Georgia, Allen (Brenda), of Everett, and Charles (Sandi), of Longview; grandchildren, Karen, of Bothell, Cheryl (Carl) Krueger, of LaVernia, Texas, Robyn, of Atlanta, Georgia, James W. (Betsy), of Sammamish, Chris, of Lynnwood, Anna Parlin, of Shoreline, Nick, of Spokane, and Ashley, of Everett; three great-grandchil-dren; numerous nieces and nephews; and dear friend, Marie King.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, June 12, at Monroe Congregational Church, 301 S. Lewis Street, Monroe, 360-794-7601.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Fred's memory to the Memorial Fund at the Monroe Congregational Church and to the Monroe Historical Society.
