Luther J. Bridges was born on April 8, 1921 and passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2015. He was a resident of Camden, South Carolina at the time of his passing, and married to Carol.

He graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia and was a member of the 95th Bomb Group of the US Army Air Corps.

A memorial service to honor the life of Lent will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday October 7 2015 at Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church. Rev. Steve Patterson and Rev. Frank Griffith will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service in the Family Life Center at the church.
