With heavy hearts, the Memorials Foundation and the Heritage Association report that Joseph Reznick of Coopersburg, PA, left formation on 6 January 2017 at age 93. Joe was a 336th ball turret gunner. Folded wings.

His obituary reads:

“Born in Hazlebrook, PA, he was the son of the late Andrew and Mary (Banko) Reznick. Joseph was the husband of the late Vera Reznick.

“During World War II, he served our country in the 8th Air Force while stationed in England. Joseph was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Coopersburg and involved in the Cursillo movement. Joseph worked the soup kitchen of the Diocese of Allentown and was a member of The Knights of Columbus Allentown Diocese Chapter.

“SURVIVORS: Daughter Mary Ellen, son-in-law Ken; brother Theodore and his wife Barbara; two grandchildren Tyler and Kaitlin.

“SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial [was] celebrated at 10am on Wednesday January 11th 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church 5050 St Josephs Rd, Coopersburg, PA followed by a graveside service.

In civilian life, Joe was a popular teacher and tutor.
