With the deepest sadness, the Memorials Foundation and the Heritage Association announce that Fred Kennie of San Diego, CA, left formation on 17 January 2017. Fred was a 334th co-pilot and former POW. He passed away peacefully Tuesday morning around 5 a.m.

Fred was the one of the kindest guys around. He was a loving husband to his wife Beulah and a dear friend to all who knew him. Fred also had an unforgettable sense of humor, “dry and humbling” as Gerald Grove aptly called it.
