Roy Evans Squyres

In deep sadness, the Memorials Foundation and the Heritage Association announce that Roy Squyres of Willow Park, TX, left formation on 24 July 2017 at age 93. Roy was a 412th pilot. Folded wings.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram published Roy’s obituary on 26 July 2017. The tribute reads:

“FORT WORTH--Roy Evans Squyres, 93, passed away Monday, July 24, 2017. GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 10 a.m. Friday, July 28, 2017, in Greenwood Memorial Park. Roy was born Sept. 9, 1923. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian; daughters, Joan Squyres Pengelly and Kay Squyres Romeo; and son, Jeff Squyres. SURVIVORS: Sons, William Squyres and wife, Karen, Gary Squyres and wife, Lyricia, James Squyres and wife, Susie, and Phil Squyres; and numerous loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.”
